It does all depend on the level of exactness one wants to achieve, as well as the tools used to accomplish said goal.
First sets were always nice and easy due to tuning breaks between the songs, but then the 2nd sets were a bit tedious to breakout into individual tracks... especially the earlier years when the transitions would be less defined.
I am constantly impressed by the work of these folks out there "remixing"/upgrading shows. Must take a mighty amount of skill and a significant amount of patience. Quite impressive.
